Hey there! I'm Calum MacGregor, and this is my Digital Portfolio!

Before we get onto my work, how about I tell you a little about me?

I was born in Newcastle, NSW in 1994, and although it will always be my hometown, I never really lived there very long! Before I settled down on the gold coast, I got to live in some of the biggest cities in the world. When I think back to my childhood, I find it amazing that I can call places like Kuala Lumpur, Edinburgh, and New York City home!

I'm an avid creative at heart, and my biggest hobbies are writing, drawing,and designing things. I also love to let my inner geek fly, and spend a fair chunk of my spare time playing the pen-and-paper RPG, D&D - which I've found to be an amazing hotbed for creative expression. I do make sure to get outside every now and then though, and if the suns out on the weekend you'll typically find me rock-climbing, playing field hockey, or riding through the hinterland on my motorcycle!

I'm currently studying a bachelor of creative industries at QUT, with a double major in IVD (Interactive and Visual Design), and Advertising. I've found this combination to be the perfect balance for me in terms of allowing creative expression whilst fostering the development of practical, real world skills. As part of my education, I've taken part in a variety of creative projects in the fields of both my majors.
